Casca news from the rebirth of the site (31st October 2009)
12th February 2010
Casca 32: The Anzac has been sent to the publisher. I expect it to be out within 4 weeks. Cover artwork is still ongoing but getting close to completion.
7th February 2010
Proofreading for Anzac has finished - all I have to do is check through it one last time and it will be sent to the publisher. After that expect it to be released about 4 weeks or so later.
17th January 2010
Added more to the timeline 4 page, bringing Casca's story up to 1796. Am busy with writing The Anzac - scheduled for release around March as Casca 32.
7th December 2009. Spoke to the publisher yesterday and the two Casca stories from me for 2010 are to be Casca 32: The Anzac due for publishing in February or March 2010, which is the follow-up to The Trench Soldier, and Casca 33: Devil's Horseman which is going to be published in the summer. This one will cover the Mongol invasion of Europe in the 1240s.
5th November 2009.
Timeline pages will be more than I anticipated - perhaps 5 in total. Will create a movie news page and Brotherhood page in due course. Other news is that my next Casca book, Casca: The Saracen, is due for release in 2010. Currently Casca 32 is due to be Mike Goodwin's second story The Outlaw, but it has slipped a fair bit from the original scheduled release of June 2009, and also from the revised September 2009 date too. If a further deadline is missed then Saracen may become Casca 32 rather than Casca 33.
2nd November 2009.
The book page is complete and I've started on the timeline. I think I'll have 3 pages so as not to have it too long on each page. Other pages to be built later this week.
31st October 2009
After 4 days of being down when Geocities pulled the plug on the old website, we're back on! The upgrade means that although still with Yahoo! its now web hosting, and new software means the old website software can't be pulled across. Not to worry, I'll put back on much of what is relevant.
